In this session, a comprehensive discussion lasting over two and a half hours was held, covering a wide range of topics from Bilge Yücel’s career journey to current GenAI trends, the capabilities offered by Haystack, and the optimization of GenAI-based architectures.

The session addressed the scope and capabilities of deepset and Haystack technologies, the points at which Haystack differentiates itself from other frameworks through its integrations, approaches to designing problem-specific GenAI-based architectures, discussions around the question of whether the rise of large context windows signals the end of the RAG era, and the potential role of existing transformer architectures in the path toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
